Trip was really fun and it was one of the best vacation i had...
and a lot of thank you to those who helped me during the trip

Tact

as many of you guys know, i'm on a road trip from Ohio to California.

First of all, i would like to thank Mike T, Cklinh, trdkamuri51o, iinokturnolii, for all the help and offers on my misfortune...

long story short, somehow during this trip, my TRD RSB broke.
since i have coil over, it seems to be not that big problem going on highway, but since it's such a long trip, i wanted to fix them before i leave california.
(there's a picture below)

I arrived San Francisco, and just uploaded the pictures that i took on my way.
I did this in my car while my GF was driving, so i didn't put all the captions, and did not choose pictures carefully...

anyways, i will fix them once i get back to Ohio, but i just wanted to post them as I get chance.
i won't be able to post all the pictures until i get back, but for now,
just some of them i took. for more pictures please visit my site.

also, my web address has been changed.
you can still view all the pages from my old address, but it won't let you use all the features.

Sucks about your RSB, but thankfully it wasn't something more vital (turbo). And with the mileage, you sure you don't mean 2600? 26K is a looooong trip!

Looks like a fun trip!!! I've always wanted to do a X-country drive like that. I can't wait to see all the pics.

I can't believe the RSB broke. TRD should be interested in seeing that. You should give them a call. If you are heading South to LA area, they may ask you to stop by Torrance so they can see it.

Sounds like a nice trip! The pic of the broken rsb is insane. Did you hear or feel it break?

The way TRD say they designed it, people would think that it would be unbreakable. I should check on mine sometime, been hearing that creaking noise even though the bar is lubed.

Nice pics, bet the road trip was a fun one minus the RSB break. :D

be honest, i didn't feel anything when it actually broke.
i felt slightly soft, so i take a look around the car when i got to a gas station.
i've been doing this pretty much every gas and rest area stop during this trip.

i kind of doubt if TRD would do anything, since my car has been lowered with coil over. but i will contact them today and see what they say.

anyways, it's been a great trip so far, and we've been eating way more than we should...
will post some more pictures later tonight

Taking the southern route? That's a good road trip, but I preferred the middle route with Denver and Vegas. (before it became Disney-like)

Where you headed to Tact? If you make to NorCal I got a hookup for you guys in Carmel if you want to see some sea otters.

a lot more pics added to my website page.

http://web.me.com/tacti/Solara/Californ ... _Trip.html

I probably need to trim the amount of the pictures on that page, but that won't happen until i get back to ohio... i guess.

we'll be in SF till Sunday morning.
I will be meeting with David (trdkamuri51o) on saturday.

and haven't decided the route we gonna take back.
i'm thinking of going to yosemite and then thru south.
but nothing is set, and probably we'll decide it sometime tomorrow or day after.

Please visit My Solara Page to view those selected pictures,
or visit My Road Trip Albums to see all the pictures I took.

I personally think the golden gate bridge picture came out really nice.
