I need some extreme help ASAP...whats the best way to get your standard ball point pen ink out of leather seats!?

Just like how you would remove pen mark from hand.

Soup and water and lots of scrubbing.

I was able to get ball point pen ink out of the leather seats in my Jeep Grand Cherokee with a product called Lexol. It is a leather cleaner. It did require lots of elbow grease.

try hairspray (the "flexible hold" kind, not aerosol type)

I'd probably try using an old, soft toothbrush..but wouldn't press down really hard..just lots of circular/back-forth motions to try to get into the crevices of the leather

Haha...Missay is right. On my camry, i had PEN mark on the arm rest that i could not get out.....my wife took care of that, when i inquired....i learnt of the many uses of hairspray!

(I had tried tufstuff and that works wonders...but the pen mark was lightened..but not removed....hairspray works)..just don't forget to use a leather care wipres or cleaning/conditioning kit afterwards!

hey!... i have a sharpie blue pen mark on mydash.. between passengr air bag and the glove compartment,., how do i get rid of it? i see it every day and it annoyes me :T

try goo gone..not sure about leather, but it should be ok on dash..

First try "Tuf Stuff" and see if it lightens, and then try hair spray!
Just remember to clean the surface later.

Hate to bump this old thread, but since it is old I was wondering if anyone has found any new way to remove ink. If not, then I will try the cleaner and hair spray.

A girlfriend of mine had ball point pen ink on her hand and shut the door. In doing so she put a little ink on the interior door handle. Couldn't believe I got that pissed about it. That is the first interior stain on my car. Sheesh! If I can't get it off, she may never ride in the Solara again.
