after i got my headunit and 4 channel amp put in..my car started to make this weird sound...sounds..like slight whirring sound...similar to the sound a turbo makes when spooling up..but not as loud...i was thinking interference...but im not sure..anyone know where it could be coming from? it actually sounds kinda cool..but i wanna make it sure its not damaging anything..........

is the sound coming through the speakers?

Sound like it is interference. Check your grounds. Run the RCA on a different side than the power, and use high quality wire

its the RCA's running too close to the exhaust... my brothers car was doing that.. and it was the RCA's picking up the exhaust noise

its not coming out of the speakers...i turned my radio completely off..and it still makes that noise..the noise disappears under hard throttle tho.....weird....

Maybe the firewall rubber wasnt place properly, so you can hear that sound from engine. If not, open you hood and exam which part does it come from

See if the noise still happens when the power isn't connected. Pull the fuse on the power wire and check for noise
