be perpared to need some spacers in the rear with that width and offset.

I am running a 8.5" width in the rear and pulling off a +15 offset to make it poke a little and stretched the tire with 215/45. With a 9" and +40 its sitting too far into the wheel well and with that size tire you might run into issues with it hitting the strut. I would have gone with at least a +25 offset or something. I say you should but a 20mm Project kics spacer in the rear for +20 offset and call it a day.

Also I have my rear fenders cut all the way and I am rubbing with the set-up I have but I plan on pulling my fenders a little in the rear when I have time.

Ill post some pics of how my set-up is when I have time.. but mine as it sits right now is

17" all around with 8.5" wide but with a +40 offset in front and +15 offset in the rear with 215/45 tires all around

18x8 +30 has about 3mm before touching the struts..
so 18x8 +40 maybe touching the front struts..

18x9 +40 is gonna be a tad bit too high.. i have 18x8 +20 and it barely clears but i have my fenders cut, pulled and rolled.. those would would look crazy baller tho. good luck!

8.5" wide up front with +40 offset is ok.. I have that size and didn't have problems with any of the wheels I have ran (more then 8 sets of wheels already) so 8" with +40 up front will be ok.

but for 9" wide in the rear with +40 offset on a camry you will run into issues with the wheels hitting the strut.. You will need about 15 to 20mm of spacing to push it out and you will need to roll your fenders and pull them.

for 9" wide in the rear you should have opt to get a +20 offset in the rear.. even +25 offset might be iffy.

Here are some pics of how my current wheels sit.

17x8.5 +40 offset front
17x8.5 +15 offset rear

215/45 Tires (rear fenders are cut all the way) will be pulled a little to solve the very little rubbing I have.

Also the car is current lowered on Tein s-tech and Tokico.

But either way the wheels look nice.. If you can still get the offsets changed so you dont have to run spacers that would be allot better.

Kenny is on point..... 8.5 with a +40 hits the rear strut...... so imagine your 9".... You will need spacers. And if you are going to Pull don't cut... I have learned that the hard way.... Roll then pull or Just cut.

The wheels are nice and your camry is sweet..... Cannot wait to seet it done.

The guy in the wheels shop said that it will fit without any problems but since you guys said I need spacers in the rear then I will go for spacers

If you choose to get spacers make sure you don't go cheap on them. Since your wheels are the only thing touching the ground.

Brand of spacers to stay away from are those eBay ones and the TC Sportline ones. They are prone to have problems.

Get your self quality spacers like Project Kics (made by Mackin - Rays Engineering) or H&R. With the offset you have I would probably go with a 20mm spacer. This will push your wheel to 9" with +20 offset which is ideal for that size. also the tire size that your order is kind of high. Meaning your side walls are too "Straight" you might want to stretch it a little to give it a better fit. 9" wide I would probably use 245/35/18 This will cause less rubbing.
