New wheels and tires

Postby hksboost » Fri Jan 02, 2009 10:05 am

Today I went to the wheel shop and they said that they have a 30+ offset so I decided to take it and i put it in my camry for test and I will go with it.

for the 30+ it is approximately 1mm to hit the strut and here some pics

Thanks for the nice comments.
I am running Tokico shocks and Eibach Springs and today I will go to a slight negative camber.

^so if i wanted to get 19s wit a 30 offset at 9 inches wide for all 4 tires it would only be 1mm away from hitting the strut? nice

Looking good bro. Would you be game to go on coilovers, or Tein S-Techs that have a little more drop to them?

It would be 1mm in the rear and more than 1mm in the front

Mr_Krispy1183
I wish that I can go lower than that but the problem is with the turbo pipes.. they will be very close to the ground

heck im running a 225/35/19 on a 9.5 and want to go to a 205/40/19 if possible

hks boost id suggest running a 5mm spacer and putting that negative camber on.. if u cant have the fender pulled, run a 215/40/18 and you will have nice stretch and no rubbing with people in the car

^^ negative rewmomi.. u cant do that or u will rub on any bump or bend your fenders... front or rear

i ran the 245/35/19 on my camry for the 8.5 in the front.. thats how i cracked my flares..

stretch tires = uber cool looking and still work fine

its a sacrafice, looks vs true functionality.. personally i havent had any issues driving on norcal roads with that stretch in the rear.. heck with the tire stretched the way it is, im considering runing a 10 in the rear now.. and neg. camber it.. for some rear poke...
