System install - After the fire

As everyone knows I had a small car fire and it damage some of my system.
The past system was a bit to crazy so I'm going to tune it down and make it a more simple set up.
All 4 10 inch mid-bass woofers were damaged.

Here is the componets of the new system.
The front speakers are staying the same
6x9 Infinity Kappas and a set of bullet tweeters.

Rear deck
We are making a custom rear deck out mdf
2 8 inch Beyma PRO 8MI Mid-Bass a set of BEYMA AST22 tweeters

Sub
1 RF T2 in a custom built box

Amps
1 RF T1000 for the Sub
Image
1 RF T8004 for front and rear
Image

The sub will be facing the back seat. When I bring the seat down you will be able to see the sub.

We will be making a divisional board in the trunk.
You will not be able to see the box.
This board will also be the amp rack.
I will be using Crisp's amp board desing with the connectors
Image
I will not be using a cap this time around.
I have a second battery Batcap 800
Also I will be installing my Iragi 250amp alternator with custom belt.

I will be posting pic as the project starts taking shape.

Thanks for the reference! I have to tell you all the AMP BOARD with COVER setup was originally purchased from Prodigy (JAMES). I did not design... just my "setup".

I still need to get measurements of the two boards for anyone interested, and will post them in my thread when I get them!

(THE CAR IS BACK from the shop, so I MAY get back at it soon!)

...unfortunately, there is a SNOW STORM coming, so I might not be able to work on the 'lara AT ALL this weekend! :-?

I see you're going with a more rounded sound with the two 8's and the tweeters. Your old setup I can imagine was good for listening to bottom heavy music but I think your new setup would handle everything from Ice Cube to Mozart if you're the eclectic type. Let us know of your opinion on how much of an effect the new setup with firing the woofers into the back seat rather than the rear deck has on your low-end.

If you mind me asking but what dimensions you used for the amp board you placed them on? Im referring to your first picture w/ the pioneer amp on it. I need to make a custom one to put my amp setup like that.

Hi NightRider!

Sorry, I haven't taken the dimensions yet! The pictured board is in my 'lara, but I purchased the boards from another SG member, "theprodigy79" (James) some time ago.

I'll go downstairs and take a quick measure of the amp board for you guys. I've been working on it in the basement. The cover board is in the trunk, so I'll have to see if it opens with all the SNOW burying the car!

First day of build
We did the custom deck, installed the 4 8 inch , re tinted the rear windows and made custom third break light.
I will take pics in the morning. It was dark by the time I got the car.
Tomorrow we will re-wire all 3 amps, second battery, alternator and try to finish the custom amp rack on the trunk.
