Trade in my Solara?

Trade in my Solara?

Postby SpikedMantis » Sun Sep 07, 2003 7:24 pm

I have been really thinking about this a lot and I could really use a lot of good feedback from fellow Solara lovers. I have an '01 SLE but I really want to trade it in for an SE V6 5 speed. Don't get me wrong, I love auto A/C, but I think I might love driving manual more! Does it sound feasible? :o

I would trade in my 99sle for a v6 manual in a heartbeat if I could.
But it's too much work to take off all the mods I have now to put into a new solara.

my buddy just traded his auto 2001 jetta 1.8T for a 2003 manual. His dealership even included swapping out the aftermarket parts plus bodykit in the financing. Only dealership i know of so far that does this and still honor the warranty. if your from illinois its Liberty volkswagon/nissan. sto

ill post pics of the 350z they were offering

Would I - NOPE! (personally i love m/t's) but i'm not the only one might drive this car. I had to get rid of my prized celica (in my sig) cus' she was a stick. It all depends on what your long term plans are - (if your married - can your spouce drive a stick - or if you plan on getting married- does your better half feel comfy driving). If your a bachelor and don't expect long term relationships in the horizon...then i'd say go for it before the women come (not trying to be sexist...but dang' no one in my family could drive a stick..and we gave up two good cars cus' they were m/t's).

Well, I'm not married so that problem is solved. No one really drives my car but me and occasionally my girlfriend. That isn't a problem either because she prefers manual over auto! So far it looks like I should be trading in my car!
