Dash Sensor

I was following a pm to disable my DRL's I needed to unplug the grey plug and unhook the sensor on the dash... My question is:

Does the sensor housing come out or do I cut the wires? I tried to pull it out but i wasn't successful. So is it ok to cut the wires?

I was wondering the same thing. Ive been searching on here for an answer, but no luck. I disconnected the grey plug too so I wouldnt f*ck up my HIDs. Then when I got to the sensor on the dash, I didnt find anyway to disconnect it. :think:

I didnt want to start hackin away at the wires, so I just left it alone. So Im in the same boat as you.

the sensor on the upper right part of the dash does disconnect...believe me i would know

Hmm, I guess my wires must be hung up or something. How far do we to pull out the sensor to reach the disconnection plug???

you wont be able to pull it up very far so just pull it up as much as u can without putting to much stress on the wires. reach in and disconnect that bad boy and you are good to go.

Trust me its there, when i did mine i think i used a screw driver to help me push in that pin to release the plug from the socket. hope it this helps. GL
