Is it really a hassle to get people into the back seats of the Solara? Do any of yall have real complaints from people or probs with that? Or with the front seats being uncomfortable after a while? I read a link here that lead to a site that reviewed the Solara (2002 I believe) Maybe it was a biased thing. I still havent gotten one yet for those who didnt read my intro. Just really curious. I'm not being swayed away, dont worry :D

well it's ur car, not other people's car, if they don't like it, tell them don't ride it.

I mean it's like you should thought of that first thing before you get the solara. That's my opinion. Although I'm in daily car pool driver, i always see people tripping from front passenger seat belt when coming from the back of my car..

never have complain, but i do have alot of praise of the comfort instead. The seat is much more comfortable then accord. I guess those people who complain never rode supra or prelude back seats

Those who have ridden in my car call for BACKSEAT! lol... one of my friends actually doesnt want to sit in the front cuz she alwayz get comfortable in the back and falls asleep (15 min ride :o )

Usually in other cars, ppl in the front are afraid to crush the ppl in the back so they all sit close to the dash... but with the Solara those sitting in the back keep on saying "keep moving back!! I STILL have lots of room!!" and this is coming from a dude thats 5'11

So nope... no complaints here... basically they know its a 2door car so theyre gunna hafta climb in and out of it, but the space they have... they enjoy

My brother is 6'4" and he never has any problem sitting in the back....once he gets in there. as with any other two door you have to deal with the front seat belt in order to get into the back seat. but as far as back seats go you won't get better in any other two door car!

i've had 3 5'9ish guys in the back before, and neither complained. entry is a little tricky cuz of the seat beat, but everthing is fine.

I only get complaints from the entry and exit... otherwise, people lose the back seat! It's the most comfy backseat in any coupe (I'm pretty sure) and sometimes, people call the backseat if they want to sleep on the ride home from where ever we went =P

Not a problem here at all... My dad is 6 foot 1 and a large man, but he can still get in the back easily, out even better! People say they will never fit, but once they try they compliment me on my spacious backseat.

And remember all-- no playing in the backseat, because we all know where that leads. (Remember that post about it earlier?)

its not as bad....getting into the back seat.....but like any 2 door car..it'll never be as easy as a 4 door...obviously...for me its not bad since people rarely ride in the back seat.....although i would like a feature that allows the power driver seat..in my sle...to be able to flip comlpetely forward with just one pedal..like on the passenger door....instead of having to slide the seat forward and backward....so usually people all enter through the passneger side...which is kinda annoying....in my opinion tho...i really think 2 door cars are impractial no matter wat car..unless you have a car with only 2 seats to begin with...the next car i get will probably be a 4 door.....reagrdless that most 2 doors look better then 4 door cars...

As others have said, once in the back seat it is more spacious than most coupes. I checked it out when I bought it and I am 6'4". Because I'm that tall, I have my seat most of the way back which makes it difficult for someone to get into the back from the drivers side since I have the 8-way electric seat. The passenger side is setup nice, there is a little black foot lever you kick from inside or out and it folds the seat forward and moves it all the way forward for someone to get in or out. Whenever anyone gets in the back of my car, they ALWAYS go through the passenger side. Even if there are multiple people. It's not quite as nice as my friends Mercedes, his has an electric switch. Hit it once and it folds and moves forward. Hit it again and it goes back to the original position. BUT, he doesn't have as much room in the back and it cost just a little more... -JoeB

That was one of my biggest concerns when I bought this car. Being 6'4", room is key. I found that the solara has more room in the back than the 2dr accord did, and overall more room than a Millennia and I think even the Maxima. It has yet to be a concern or a source of complaint from my passengers.

I was in my friends 03 Altima, I sat in the back and I was pretty sure my back seat was as big and as roomy as his. And he has a 4-door car! Ive been in my friends 2000 Prelude too, and even though he has a back-seat he migth as well not have had one becuz there is really no leg room in a Prelude.

the only way to get legroom in a prelude is to lay lengthwise across the back
