The one on ebay is a 4 cyl. A manual trans would be no fun with that moderatly slow 4 cyl engine.

most '04's (i think) are 5-speed......5-speed AUTO!
the only way to get a 5-speed manual is to go the i4 route.

Scroll down and look around... the 4 cylinder is quoted to be

" Power for the Solara is provided by a robust 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine; rated at 157 horsepower, this engine is surprisingly quick for it's size and actually quite playful when teamed with the standard five-speed manual transmission."
