Although it may not seem like much, New Rims and Tires!

I know the rims may not seem like much since they aren't aftermarket or anything, but my previous ones were the stock 16" ones that come on the base se model. (I wanted to keep a stock look)

A long story made short:
Went sliding and hit a curb during a snow storm about a month ago (Old RE92 tires were terrible). This resulted in a bent rim and control arm. :x Got both replaced, but the replacement 16" rim was not the right shade of silver.
...of course that bothered me. They couldn't get it right even when they color matched it, so I decided to return the repainted wheel and got myself a set of brand new 17" sport ones on ebay.

Overall I like the appearance with the 17" ones over the 16" (and I have the center caps on now for those of you that are wondering).

One thing I must add: The new Goodyear EagleGT's I put on there are amazing! Got more snow this past weekend and they don't slip at all!!!
Cornering grip is also amazing! I like the addition of rim protectors too...:D

Heres a few pics (didn't have the chrome caps on yet):

Yea the style of the Eagle GT's also appeals to me.

I found my set of new rims on ebay. They were taken off of a Solara when it was purchased new from the dealer because the owner put aftermarket on right away.

Just keep looking around and make sure you communicate with the seller. Picked up mine for 300 + 140 shipping :D

...ehhh should I not feel too bad since mine were never used? :-?

It makes me happy to know the dealer charges about 445 per rim lol.

The stock 17's are much better looking, in my opinion, than the 16's. Nice upgrade!!! I love the 'classic' 5 spoke look.
