I'm not sure what they could burn up. Are you talking about the headlight housing or where it plugs in/wiring? These are rated at 55/60W, that is the correct rating for our car. What you have to watch out for is the ones that are rated higher. They make other H4s that require higher wattage, that wouldn't be good.

One thing to consider is, have you ever heard of the manufacturer? Who IS the manufacturer? If you want to buy something like this, I'd recommend PIAA. They have something similar at Sports Car Accessories http://sportscar-parts.com/mivastore/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=sportscar&Product_Code=PIAA15962&Category_Code=piaa_headlamps . It's an HID substitute that is rated at 5000K/low and 4200K/high. It is more expensive, $84 but you get what you pay for... They also give a 1-Year warranty. I've had similar PIAAs in my car for almost 1.5 years with no trouble (not quite as bright). I was even runnin the DRLs until a week ago. -JoeB

I saw the same ones in my homebois trunk of his c240... let me ask him about it and ill update you.

But if he did have him on his car, mine were a brighter white (side by side test) :D

Acording to the kelvin rating, 5800k seems really blue. but his were white so I dont think he had those on.

I put the silverstars in for my first mod and it makes a huge difference. The look is so much purer, and i know on my white car it makes all the difference not having that urine-yellow tint. Sylvania is a very reputable company, my father's company which does energy conservation recommends and installs their products exclusively. If you're on a limited budget and want a good looking light, go for it! BTW, Autozone had the best prices from what I saw (@ $20 apiece) and wal-mart was the most expensive ($50 for 2)
