Ok There are 3 nuts...and i could loosen the top part but then I cant get the bottom part out. Can someone help me out here?

Supposedly, you have to use a little force and take it off the clips attached to the bumper at the bottom of the grille, however I couldn't do that because I thought it would break. I just did the work on the grille with it on the car....speaking of which, why do you need to remove it?

im making my OWN custom grill.....im gonna have to take the grill off of my car because im gonna cut the lil lines.....sand down the chrome part what not.....and it's gonna look tight if i could get it off lol :evilbat:

As another custom grille person, I'm excited to see how it'll turn out! Other options you may have are going to a junkyard and taking a grille from there incase you mess up. Just figgured I'd throw that out there if you want to explore your options.

It's easier to work on it with it out. There are at least 3 clips at the bottom. I pryed them out with a flat head screwdriver. Take a look at it and you'll see clips at each end of the grille and one in the middle.

I took the Toyota emblem off the front, bondo'ed the holes, sanded the plastic chrome off and sprayed it semi gloss black. I think it looks pretty good and it was a cheap mod.

Ok, I already took out the grill :) :) :) and I just finished sanding the chrome part down....now I have to bondo those small holes or.....im going to cut the vertical lines.
