I was just curious if you can mix lowering springs?? :roll:

I want my front end to look like my back end. I bought the eibach pro-springs, but the front and is still pretty high. I want both my front and back end to be flush, but I dont want to spend money to buy a whole new entire spring set.

I would not recommend it cus diff springs have diff settings. if you would like a clean look all the way around i would buy the tein's then sell your eibachs. its a better value that way. but i have the teins in my car and i love the drop.. i have a 1 finger gap all the way around.

the srping rate is gonna be all different..but then againm..ppl used to cut their springs....so....but then again aren't the teins different drop in front and back..?

Yea.. the teins are 1.6F and 1.4R, while the eibachs are 1.6 all around..

actually thats not true...the eibachs are NOT 1.6 around...they are 1.2 all around...however you can request what i got which is 1.6 and 1.2...

um, did anyone bother to open up the box their springs came in?
the front and rear are DIFFERENT! the rears are larger (top to bottom) than the front.
the only way to get a different drop in front than in back, hnda8r, is to put one brand (i.e. Tein) in the front and another (i.e. Eibach) in the rear.

The gap in the front being bigger does not necessarily mean the car is dropped less. Measure the distance under the car (where you jack-up) to see if it is an even drop. I'm pretty sure you'll find out the front is actually a fraction of an inch lower than the back measured this way. The front wheels need more space than the rear in turns to avoid rubbing.

If it is for looks and the way you like it more - then OK, you can lower the front further. But I personally wouldn't like my car looking like a Neon - with the ass-up, only to get rid of the fender gap in the fornt...

I dont think the back end will stick up hgher than the front, but there is only 1 way to find out :roll:
