I recently tried to install my amp and attached the remote wire to the red wire on the back of the stock deck.. now the stereo comes on but the speakers just crackle. Any suggestions?

They work now.. think it had to do with battery resetting.

Its the strangest thing cause the speakers work and then they start cutting out after like 20-30 min of use. The amp isnt installed.. all the wires were disconnected. Anyone know what could be happening??

your problem might be becuz you are running the remote to your constant 12 volt. you mite wanna try a diff remote selection. your remote wire is taking up too much power from your headunit.

I installed a amp ans sub to my friends IS300 stock headunit and we used the power mirror 12 volt for the remote and it works fine. since the mirror you dont use too much. tap it into the fuse holder section. but becareful you dont wanna blow a fuse.

also by doing it that way you always have the chance of blowing a fuse.

No but the turn on wire has been disconnected and all the other amp wires have been too.
