Everyone here on the boards (if you did a search) mainly recommend Silverstars since you can get them for about $30-50 depending on your area (or ebay)

Other folks got HIDs or xenons... so as you please and show us the results after your done!! :D

here brutha: lemme hook you up and do some searchin' for ya...

What Headlight bulb does the solara use?

The 1999-2001 Solara uses a dual filament H4 (9003) bulb for high and low beams. The fogs are 9006
The 2002-2003 Solara uses 9006 for low beams and 9005 for high beams

taken STRAIGHT from the Solaraguy FAQ section. which is, like. never used.

all_red, they meant to use the search in this forum, not on the web. Go to the top of the page and click the "Search" (it is bold). You can even tell it which threads to search.

You will almost always get other threads that have a completely different subject and someone in there listed their mods which included Silverstars. BUT, I usually read those too, just learn a little more... -JoeB

We sell that brand at circuit crappy. A bunch of employees have them(the Eurolites), and they burn out after less than three months! I think we sell them for about thirty bucks. Have fun!

Yup, thats what I was referring to... thanks Joe!! And if all_red is going for the silverstars, ebay would sometimes be cheaper, but it doesnt hurt to go to a local autozone store and ask info n it either

i love going to different parts places and getting more info!! :D
