Suspension upgrade

unless you have a computer cutting your springs for you no matter what the springs will not evenly cut..meaning yeah your car will be lower but at the same time the ride is gonna suck even more meaning lots of bouncing and probably unevenness since handcutting your springs will never be as precise as a machine...plus manufacturers make the springs with a certain spring rate by cutting the springs the integrity of the spring rate gets affected....bottom line..don't do it....besides the fact that it's "rice" its really just a waste of time...

Of course you do that, but eventually your stock struts will ware out and your ride will suck @$$... do it all at once... struts and springs... they way you have the complete feel of an upgraded suspension...

I suggest, since you are new, use the "Search" function on this one and you will find all the answers to your questions on this... its been discussed many many times with lots of useful info and knowledge for you
Retired... its been fun Image

people have different thoughts and expirences with cutting springs. i have had my fair share of :agrue: with other people in the past. some have good and some have bad cases when they have cut their springs

i opt for not altering springs.

I just got Tokico HP blues with some Eibach springs that have a drop of 1.6 front and 1.6 rear, I also have a system. I notice everyone else hase a smaller drop in the rear. Can anyone tell me if my car is going to look retarted b/c of the rear being too low?
Nascar would be a sport if half the cars were driving the other direction.

uh i can say that...your car will probably settle down more in the back especially if you have a system in the trunk..versus the ront of the car ...but remeber how your car looked before it was lowered? with lowering it should help a lot...it shouldn't look too wierd...i only have the TRD springs and stock shocks and it looks ok....i wouldhave done the stock shocks when i got my springs done..but at the time...the only shocks avaiable were the bilstein TRd ones whcih were a rip off back then...so anyways...enjoy the fact that you can get better prices now and also more selection...

I think this is what happened - when Eibach first came out with the springs, it was 1.6 all around. After a while, they changed the rear's to Camry springs, which are 1.2" and they still fit. I believe IcrazychrisI has the 1.6 all around.
