PENDING SALE: 17x8.5" Rota D2 Wheels Staggered Offsets

Postby indiglosolara » Tue Sep 01, 2009 10:23 pm

Hey Guys,

I am selling the second set of Rota D2 Wheels in Black w/polish lips .
Here is the deal. When I purchase these wheels they didn't have the staggered offsets so I bought a set in +40 offset. Couple of months later I was able to source out a set of +25 offset wheels. This is how I ended up with 2 sets of the same wheels.

Since the +40 offset (fronts) were used on my car. I let my dad drive my car one day and he accidently curbed one wheel Front +40 offset wheel. Not bad at all but need to be mentioned.

So these wheels are:
17x8.5" (All wheels)
Front +40 offset
Rear +25 offset
5x114.3 bolt pattern

The 2 front wheels are used and ONE of them is the curbed one that mentioned above. I will get pics this weekend.

The 2 rear wheels are BRAND NEW.

I am asking $550 for the set local pick up.
Shipping is additional $150

This is a one of a kind set that is perfect fit for the solara. You will need to roll your rear fenders. If you are local I have a fender roller I can lend you for free.
You can see how they fit here:
http://solaraguy.com/viewtopic.php?t=45888

tires are NOT included.
I am running 225/45/17 tires right now on the set I have (just for reference). I paid just about $800 to get them the way I wanted so my loss your gain.

Please PM me with any questions.

Are there any rubbing issues on the front? What tires are on them, I know the size is shown but Brand and Model?
Trust me, I'm a technician.

I am not including tires in the sale. I was just referencing what tire size i used.

I had some small rubbing issues on the front but that is because I am dropped 3.5"+ in the front on coilovers. Unless you are as low as I am you wont have rubbing issues. But if you are low you can fix the rubbing issues by removing the clip on the front fenders and bending it back. Thats what I did But if you are lowered only on springs you wont have this problem.

To reference how low I am my front and rear tires tuck when 1 person is in the car. TRDGreg can tell you how low my car is.. He help me tune my suspension. Plus since greg has seen my car I went down 2 more turns in the spindle.
