Nice job! I did mine yesterday, I used Niteshades on the corers though. It makes the car look more masculine and really mean. How bad was it doing the oem corners?
Trust me, I'm a technician.

VHT Niteshades transparent black tinting paint. It's the same thing Latin uses to do the tinted tails for everybody. Everybody talks about how difficult it is to take apart the oem corners, I haven't tried it but I'm glad it worked out for you, looks gook.

How the hell did you not crack the lense? Please let me know how you did it because I kept breaking mine and I know many others have had the same problem. Please shed some light and knowledge. Thank you.

haha it was simple

i used a heat gun and a flat head screw driver. i heated a section of the corner up and pried and heated up another section and pried and it just came apart

i also painted my friends corners and had no problem with them either

I'm shocked that you didn't have any problems with the corners. Using a heat gun shouldn't have had any affect on them b/c they are sealed with a solid contact cement, not butyl like the headlights.

In any event, your lights looks great. I love that you kept the amber reflector with the blacked-out option. That was always my preference.

I like it. I like amber reflectors too over clears.

On another forum someone used boiling water to soften up the sealant and take apart their headlights. I was going to try that with my corners but that's later on down the line with my project. Sounds messy though.

thanks for the compliments, they look great at night with my hids :D

yeah i prefer the amber reflectors over clear also

i didnt know they were that hard, im suprised mine were so easy

i didnt think theyd come out this good but the risk was worth it

scraping all the oem sealant off the headlights was the most difficult and time consuming
