Not much has changed......

Not much has changed......

Postby SleeperSolara » Sat Sep 05, 2009 4:55 pm

Well not alot has changed wit my car.
I remember back then i would whore out my car here on dot net.

Well i just got new tint today from a well known shop here in OKC wit the car scene here.

Anyways here are some pictures.

Old tint.....
Image
^^
Was 20% tint all 5 windows, then some douche bag broke into my car, so i took out the driver tint to match the passenger window.

New tint....
Image
^^
All 5 windows have 10% now. :drinking:
It so much darker in the car......

As of right now the reason the Revo's aren't on the car..... need tires.

My plans of right now:
1. Order new OEM front fenders, front bumper, and driver door skin and maybe hopefully the CF hood i bought a year or two ago will fit wit the OEM fenders. **crosses fingers**

2. Get the whole car on the outside stripped down the bare metal, maybe gettin' the windows taken out to get a complete new DWP paint job. [The front bumper is peelin' cause of the aftermarket bumper......]
The hood doesn't line up at all, it has big gaps near the fenders.
The rear quarter panel near the driver wheel well is startin' to crack. :(

3. New rims, maybe Rota D2's. [After seein' "indiglosolara" wit Rota D2's, i'm sold on them as my new wheels].

4. Finally decided to get a TRD body kit when i get all the other parts in.

5. And really thinkin' about pickin' up some coilovers also. *shrugs*

6. 3MZ / 1MZ hybrid.

Man 35% tint is nothin' man.
The old tint on my car was 20%, and it was hella easy to park my car.
20% was too light of a tint for me.

I was rocking 20% tint than got a fix it ticket. I'm thinkig of doing 30% all the way around. Where are you located where you can run 10% I would love to do that. Very nice looking vehical. PA sucks they don't have a tint law pursay but you must be able to see inside the vehical. Anything below 70% is suppose to be illegal

Yeah.
The cops really don't care for the tint, unless you get pulled over for doin' somethin' really stupid.
I'm in Oklahoma.
I have a friend who has a Altima SE-R and he has his window tinted 5% i think, and the he also has the front windshield tinted at 10% i think.

Man, you're buying an entire new front end to get the cf hood to fit? I may be wrong, but I would save your money man. Aftermarket CF body panels very rarely fit like oem. All cf parts I have ever had have not fit quite right- I actually just sold the cf hood and hatch off of my 240 because I got tire of the lousy fitment.

Tint looks good!

Well when i wrecked my car our family friend that owns a body shop used aftermarket "OEM" parts for the fenders, hood, and front bumper....
I think the CF hood will fit better wit the real OEM parts.
Yeah well i was goin' to buy OEM fenders and get them wrapped in CF but i'm not sure yet, I was talkin' to a shop in the UK that sells starter kits to wrap stuff in CF, or make your own CF parts, and to make your own molds.
I was thinkin' of makin' a mold of the real OEM fenders and makin' my own CF OEM fenders. But I'm not sure yet..... *shrugs*
Dang man.

Thanks.

As of right now, i'm sick of how the aftermarket "OEM" parts fit on my car. :x
So i'm goin' to dish out and go all real OEM front parts.
I know it's goin' to be costly, but i'm hella OCD.
I'll be gettin' the OEM parts and probably get the whole car stripped of the old body work, and repainted OEM DWP.
The driver door shell is startin' to crack where the body shop fixed it, and the rear driver wheel well near the gas lid is startin' to crack too, and i wanted to get my rear fenders rolled also.
