Go black, and make it go lower on the car, that looks like crap.

It needs to completely cover the hood, personally i would bring the black down to that "line" in the side of teh car (right above door handle).

and make the whole hood black, but not the front bumper.

Artistically speaking, it kinda of works against the integrity of the
overall design. It's almost like the car is not big enough to support
more than one color. The style is such a composite of subtle sleekness
that adding another color completely redesigns it and changes its overall look.
Of course, you can't tell another Solara Guy what to do with his Solara.
It's just unheard of. Funny, though, how the ones who wants to
do these strange things to their cars are always asking for the opinions
of others. It's like they know deep down inside that it just doesn't look
right. A better solution would be to get another car, and just let the Solara be a Solara.

I love that green one so much! I wish the current owners of these cars would post pics of them. These seem to be the only ones that exist.
