Hi everyone,

I am the maker of the Rhodes Custom Engine Cover for the 1MZFE. I have decided to make an official picture thread, for the owners of these covers to post pictures and show off their covers. I will start with pictures of the original cover I made that sits on top of my engine. Here you go...

Pictures of the one on my car (Aluminum Polished):

YAY! I'm the first customer to post pics. First off, let me just say that the quality of the engine cover is fantastic. I ordered the polished stainless steel one and it arrived highly polished and obviously made of heavy gauge steel. Since I had the TRD supercharger for some reason my EGR wire was really taught so I had to make some adjustments to accomodate the new cover.

Here you can see that with the stock cover I had to cut a piece out in order to really tighten down the cover without putting a lot of pressure on the wire.

The new cover still pushed against the wire so I zip-tied two layers of foam from my OEM upper radiator hose. This helps elevate the cover a bit.
Image

Then I got some small copper tubing to slide over the two bolts to act as spacers so the cover won't be screwed down too low. (Don't mind the electrical tape. It's there because I was using mutiple small pieces of tubing.)
Image

And here's the finished product. Looking blinged out as ever! It definitely dresses up my engine bay more than before.

It is so nice to see one of my covers in action on somebody else's ride.
Thanks for posting, I'm glad you got it to fit with your EGR wire.
Your engine bay looks nice and clean. Awesome! I think the main
problem with the fitment is that you don't have the factory ignition wire
cover, the cover is designed to fit with it. :D :D
