Hmmm... came across the CRISPCALENDAR from awhile back. Got me wondering how many of the pictured avatar owning SG'ers are still around.

ALSO makes me wonder what the calendar would look like with the recent crowd! 8)

LOL! It's just an amalgamation of avatars and such! A SINGLE-PAGE ALL-YEARS crispcalendar...

I actually printed a few and had one on my office wall and in my basement. It's "user-input" design allows it to serve any and all years.

...well... sort of.

If I weren't so BURIED with work and such... I'd do another CURRENT one just for fun!

...unfortunately, I have been in the office until after midnight a couple times already this week, until after 8pm last night (Friday... ) and at the office TODAY again since early afternoon and don't expect to get out of here until middle of the night... only to return TOMORROW afternoon again and go at it until I'm done! DOH!!!

(I'd come in earlier in the day on Saturday and Sunday, but the wife works and I'm taking care of our four kids until I can free up to come in and work...)

Over 2 million riding on this particular case... so I'd hate to blow it now!:o I've only got the weekend to wrap my arguments up... as the session is on Monday! YIKES!

What about a virtual calendar? A picture for each month, around 1280 x 1024 (most monitors) and with a dated calendar embossed on the picture?

Not exactly... but I handle high risk warranty cases in the automotive industry... so effectively, I am defending the interests of my company on the technical merits of whatever case I am handling at any given moment. I also deploy new initiatives based on current and past events that identify "gaps" in the infrastructure and systems that are in place now (or missing) to prevent recurrence of past claim related issues.

The biggest issue is, judge, jury and executioner all reside WITHIN my counterparts... the customer's "board of reckoning"! :o

I SWEAR if I had a third party of neutral "peers" I'd be MUCH more effective at mitigating the losses that are always crammed down our throats! Ultimately, whether you are technically at fault or not, you ALWAYS bear a healthy share of the territory... aka: COSTS that are incurred from issues in the field. My goal is simply to MINIMIZE those losses.

...so far... it's gone okay considering the alternative to the company... which is taking it up the wazoo WITHOUT concession.

(One case a few years ago was a 40 million risk, and I got it down to 3.4M through my defense presentation. STILL a heck of a lot of "loss", but SUBSTANTIALLY better than what was at stake!)

NOTE: I watch "A FEW GOOD MEN" over before almost EVERY CASE I go in and defend.

PS: It's going on 10PM on a Saturday night and I'm all alone in a facility that employs 500+! DOH!!! Sad part is, I'll be right back at it tomorrow night... and working on the presentation all morning while I "watch" the four young'uns until the wife gets off work in the early afternoon! AAARRRGGHHH!!!!

Thanks for the support, guys! It IS a LOT of pressure!!!

Honestly, I don't know how I would begin to describe it... but the other management and staff around me all jump through hoops for me when I'm this deep into a case, so that's cool. Problem is, I still have to do 95% of it "lone wolf". (Too many cooks spoil the broth... and when dealing with tactical warfare of the litigious nature... you don't want MULTIPLE lawyers mincing words over the strategy! 8) )

...still at the office and it's 12:31AM now...
