I think you'd be surprised at the modest stipend that I do this for... considering the sacrifices and skill-set I have to bring to the table... not to mention the commitment... but then, that's exactly IT! Commitment.

The best way I could describe it is to use the Japanese term "GIRI". Contracted into a further meaningful and applicable term: "GIRIGATAI" From GIRI + KATAI.

Few "Westerners" ever come to grips with that one... but if you get close, you will understand. Maybe.

Oh yeah... drove home and now I'm reviewing my notes from tonight. The timeline of events is coming together nicely, and I have rebuttal evidence for every event timing that is under contention for exposure territory. :D

If I can just demonstrate with graphic clarity the relationship between territory that is not ours and the change points that ultimately acted as root cause to the degradation of performance beyond the required specifications... then I can absolve our group from any ensuing costs beyond that point in time. Now... I DO have some territory PRIOR to that point in time... but the exposure window is quite small, and I'll whittle the PERCENTAGE of the prior territory down substantially as well.

Once I've established all of the above, it's just a matter of delivering the coup de gras with an analysis of each of the actual contentions from the field that will allow a reduction in the cost per unit attributable to the contentions that ARE conceded. WOOT! :drinking:

I just wish I had more than the next 36 hours to complete my presentation.

nite nite

I guess I changed my avatars too quickly. Here are four pics of Courtney Culkin and the cover of a Herb Albert album "A Taste of Honey". Then, that was my signature for the longest time. I had that up for over a year. Now, I change my signatures about 4 times a week.

It's imminently interesting to me how the power of association leaves its residual images in our mind even after the passage of some time. Avatars not only afford some interpretation of one's personality or appearance but in fact are highly limited in their accuracies, with the exception of self-portraits! Even then, the association is not so much with the object of the avatar itself, but the FAMILIAR IMAGE that serves as the "tag" for all the posts made that in writing and manner behaving in here, becomes the person behind the little square icon to which we all ultimately succumb... even the "non-avatars"... who generally suffer in forum personality altogether.

That's right... the BUTLER made it for me!

Good comments, ALL!

I wish I were so active on here as to build another Avatar file like I had! That one took a couple months back then... but I had a lot of fun doing it. Had this idea of a collage and started grabbing up those images we associate with the posts... a phenomenon that I was really just learning, this forum being one of my earliest forays into the forum thread world of personalities.

I had some interesting ideas for some polls and such aimed at generating good statistical data for a user database sampling just to see what it said about us in here.

I think the matter of Solara driver profiles has been a steady subject for years, but when we sit down and actually crunch the data, we surprise ourselves with both the diversity and contradictions that are posed by the results.

...of course, I'm projecting here.

Maybe I'll do that data bit yet one of these days...

This was before my time. Wow, at 52 years old it seems weird being able to say that.
