47TH_Ronin wrote:HAHAH very funny, I see you just had to throw me almost hitting the 150,000 dollar car in there......thats what he gets for coming down and minggling with the poor folk lol. and just so you know...i called USAA and they would have covered me still....my rate would have just sky rocketed. But all in all, it was fun....I think I showed all the v6 guys that I wasn't full of crap when I say my lil 4 banger se sport is peppy! Hell I has hanging right in there with Cosmin Grooves all the way to the 128mph mark (while he was chasing a stang) and still had about 5000 rpms to go in 5th gear! Though Grooves' 2 extra cyclinders showed there place about that time (yea i said it, i hit 130 before i slowed down and didn't govern out like a few people said it would) So grooves....i was going 130...meaning you were chasing a stang at atleast 145....your freaking crazy..then again if I was in my ws6, i woulda done the same so can't blame you hehe. just all of a sudden i look down..see 130 on my speedo...then i get a bad image of a flamming car accident due to bad tires and ridonkculous speed..........had to let you go bro!!!but yep the twisties was really fun, i was very pleased at how my lara handled all the tight corners and stuff, though the constent gear shifting made me feel like i was in a damn ridge racer game lol you automatic guys had it made...fekers!!

hahaha! Gotta call you out on some of your facts.

That mustang shut down at 130 and I was right on his tail. Of course, I was drafting him which allowed me to accelerate to 130 just as quickly as he did. No way I could pass him, though. If he would have kept going, I'm sure he would have started pulling away.
When I looked in the rear view mirror, you were WAAAAYYY back there. I didn't realize you tried keeping up until you started talking about it.

Truth be told, I was very impressed by how your 4cyl pulled. That thing has some balls. You got a great car there matched up with the manual tranny. 8)

Fun time for sure. Enjoyed hanging out with Ronin and his bud and all those Solara dudes. 8)

[edit] I just ordered a TRD Rear Sway bar. That will be helpful for the next meet.

i think i know what happen!! when me and you (grooves) were playing...right before the mustang battle lol.....we were about 115 ... thats when you started pulling me to go play with the stang. i shut down for a few thats when you took off with the stang. i said screw it and re punched it...i was cruizing at 130 and you guys were still hauling ass down the toll, then i guess you and the stang hit that little bit of traffic cause next time i saw you..you were ahead of him. that is why i figured you were doing atleast 145. but yeah it was fun

Thanks Nando!!! 8)
They feel awesome. I could really notice the difference cutin them corners. Bob and Gabe were absolutly right about this BBK. I was able to go into the corners fast with ease. Ill post my canyon vid soon just gotta finish choppin it up for length reasons.

Now all I need is some boost so I can come outta them corners as fast as I go in. 8)
