Sway Bars on 04 SE

Sway Bars on 04 SE

Does anyone know if the sway bars on the new Solara SE are thicker than on the Gen 1? I thought that I read this somewhere. If so, will they fit on a Gen 1? I want to replace my Whiteline front bar with something a little less stiff, and my stock bar is not quite stiff enough (I have an 01). Anybody have any ideas about this?

oops. my bad. i highly doubt the two solaras share the same things. 2 different platforms you are talking about here.

He's talking about the front bar. Whiteline front is 24mm, stock is 17mm. I doubt new solara's bar will fit.

Why would you want something smaller anyways? You have better stability through corners now.

Sometimes I love the effect of the front sway bar, and sometimes I get tired of the overly stiff ride. I'm just looking for a compromise between the Whiteline bar and the stock bar.

Me too, 19-20mm would probably be perfect.
