OBX & Greddy exhaust video

Just had Greg install the OBX headers/y-pipe a couple weekends ago and got around to making a small video. I couldn't get on it too hard 'cause of the wet streets, but you'll get the idea. Personally, not sure if I really like the sound. I think I'll be adding a race cat and custom cat-back into a Borla muffler in the near future. Still trying to decide between 2.5" and 3". The performance gains from the headers/y-pipe were definitely noticeable. Probably more so, because I had Cali-spec headers prior. The car pulls much smoother/harder past 3k rpms now. I can really notice it when passing on the freeway Anyone looking for a good mechanic, Greg is the man. He does great work for a very fair price!

Yeah, sounds just the same in person. The Greddy had a higher tone than the TRD without the OBX setup. Now it's just louder too. Gotta say, I still like the sound of the TRD muffler the best. It has a much deeper/throaty sound. I'm hoping a 3" system with Borla muffler will get me that same tone, or at least much closer

Wow, that does sound strange... I'm sure the gains are worth it though. I really liked my JPP setup with an Apexi muffler in place of the Magnaflow one... had a nice deep tone!
