I bought an apexi n1 muffler from ebay and went to the shop and told them that i want to run a 2.5in pipe to the cat and weld on the muffler.. I was really sccared to do it becouse i didn't want it to sound ricey becouse i hate that sound. But i was really happy how it turned out. The only reason i did that insted of buying a cat back is becouse it's a lot cheapper and i am on tight budget.lol Let me know what you guys think..!

How much did you pay for the Apexi muffler? I checked out ebay and they sell for almost $200.

I will have a much harder time in setting up my exhaust system so that it is not raspy than people with V6 automobiles.

RDKamikaze got a DNX muffler on his Gen 2 I4 and it was not raspy so I might go with that setup.

Universal (coffee can) mufflers on a Gen 2 I4 with stock wheels scream ricer.

For me, the muffler has to look close to stock, and flowmaster is the one that I am also looking at.

Do mufflers like the flowmaster have a built-in silencer?

I believe that is something a muffler shop can fairly easily put in, i could be wrong.
