So I finally figured out how to upload videos on the internet.

Below are two videos of me testing out the Injen SRI on my Solara, the 1st one is the revving one and the 2nd one is the view from the inside of the car.

I WANT your opinions, be it criticism or praise *puts flame suit on*

*prepares flamethrower*

Don't hit the rev limiter in a video, it makes it look like you don't know what you are doing. Do you know what you are doing? :p

The rev video sounds like a four cylinder....well it is. It sounds very nice in the 0-60 video though. Much better than the revving.
Trust me, I'm a technician.

Yea I will not hit the rev limiter next time, I look like I don't know what I am doing because I DON"T KNOW what I was doing lol.

I guess I was a little bit excited during the making and stepped on the gas too hard.

This is the first time I have revved it while the car is not moving.

I used a much better mic to capture mine, but the goal was to make the revving annoying, not to show off... here it is anyways (got same engine and Injen intake, different model)

your interior vid sounds nicer than mine though.

I noticed a little whirring sound towards the end of the video, kinda nice.

Yea I like the second video better as well.

Mike, all I had for capturing videos was my photo camera on "video camera capture" mode, I am a noob at this (yea when I watched your overreving video, the sounds are much clearer)

I don't think revving the car in neutral would do much in terms of really showing off the sri, I think the best way to show it off is to do a drive by.

Edit: My old high school (Cypress Creek HS) didn't even have that much camera equipment on their TV production team. Olympia is probably the most well-funded school in Orange County.

Yeah, a drive-by or in-car camera with a decent mic is the best way to get the sound of a car. With no load the sound ends up being higher pitched and just lacking. Both cars sound good though.

^^I am still finding information about the best exhaust for my Solara but for close to $500 for a full custom exhaust, its not really an attractive idea to me right now.

I could just install the muffler on stock pipes; kinda pointless lol, I am gonna do the rest of the performance mods that I want before that happens.

And oh yea I get to pay a lot of cash to fix that front bumper this summer, yayyy!!!

That sounds nice but sometime in the future I want to do a driveby at about 45-60mph, when I pass by the camera I want to be sure that the car is at full throttle.

^^Make sure after you get those headers installed that you get the car dyno tuned.

Tacti3 has one of those (pictured above) on his Solara, that might help out as well.

*The INJEN SRI is truly a great mod, its cheap, easy to install, and the results are rewarding, I don't think I will ever get bored with the sound haha*
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
About the exhaust, I don't think I will get one, its gonna get way too expensive with the one that I want.

Going with just the muffler welded on stock pipes is against my beliefs in car modifications (that the parts must make the car perform better) so thats a no go for me.

After the crank pulley, I can surely say the project will be done after 6 years of being worked on.
