I recently changed my dome light (that has been out for three years) and now my factory radio won't turn on (doesn't even light up). I checked the fuse on the inside panel (behind coin door) and it appears fine. any other ideas as to what it might be?

does the dome light work, or is it out. the radio memory wire might be under the hood. i think its the same as the dome light power fuse.

i thinks there is two different power sources for the radio. 1 is the 12volt memory power. the other is the 12volt acc power. do you know what the fuse is labelled as that your checking is good?

under hood fuse should be labelled radio 1 and is a 20 amp fuse.
inside fuse box is radio 2 fuse for acc which should be a 7.5 amp fuse.

i guess the next step is to pull the radio and check to see if you have power on both those wires. if you do i'm guessing your radio is shot.

before you do anything, check the radio memory dome light wire, its under the hood, or the dash.

if you want to remove the unit take off the ashtray, the cig lighter and pull the dash trim from there and work your way up, it has clips. unplug the cig lighter wire once you take the bottom section off.

PS. ignor first drunk comment.
