We're open to suggestions and just want to offer a product that improves upon the HID kits and their usability. Please don't bash us, we are only doing what our customers over the past 3 years have recommended and suggested to us.
Thank you sincerely for your cooperation and understanding.
Not really bashing the quality of the kits, just the intended functionality. I don't really see a point in trying to improve a PnP hid kit in a halogen reflector. The cost of hid projectors have come down quite a bit and pricing your kits at $170 is basically pricing yourself out of the market. the only reason why people put these PnP's in halogen reflectors is because they are on a tight budget so being the "top-of-the-line" PnP hid kit won't really get you anywhere when you are competing with $60 PnP kits.
In all honesty, I want to see all PnP kits go up in flames because of the unavoidable glare that ends up tanning my eyeballs but I know it wont happen.
Thanks for your response. You get what you pay for these days and a $40 kit is not the same as a $110 kit, just like how $500 wheels aren't the same as $4000 BBS. Both the quality of the product and service the company provides are things to be considered when purchasing.
We believe that these kits are perfect for those who want a better HID kit but don't want to pay the $ for a complete retrofit or have time to do a retrofit themselves. What you're saying is to either get a super cheap kit or go full out with a retrofit. The LUX conversion system is the middle between these two light modification extremes and offers a more functional approach to your standard HID conversion kit.
That is the angle we're working with. If price is an issue, we will consider this but as a retrofit advocate, you cannot ignore that reducing glare is a positive step in the HID kit industry.
