My name is Hugo, I live in Lawndale, CA. I purchased a silver 2006 se sport (4 cyl) in February. I have since tinted the windows and installed an aux&usb adapter on my radio: http://www.gromaudio.com/store/usb_adap ... rface.html

I will post a picture ASAP.

Look forward to meeting you all...

Welcome Hugo!
Gotta quiz you on that USB unit. (a bit backward considering you're new)
So the steering wheel controls on that thing work as advertised? The description says it maps folders on your USB to discs for the changer. Have you stress tested that? Curious if it's limited to 10 folders or anything like that. Any issue with volume compared to radio/CDs?

Also what year Solara do you have? My AUX worked in the OEM 2004 JBL, but not the OEM 2007.

Thanks for the welcome everyone,

I have a 2006. The USB thing is actually working very well. I have full control with the steering wheel buttons. The USB hook-up allows you to store your music on a flash drive (I am using an 80 gig portable hard drive). I created 6 folders full of music (it is limited to 6 folders) and can scroll through the folders with the buttons on the stock stereo (1-6 buttons used to store radio stations), once I have selected the folder i want I can cycle through the songs in that folder with the arrows on the steering wheel.

I also purchased an axillary cable so I can play music off of my cell phone/ipod etc. I highly recommend it. It is very easy to install, I did it myself. haven't had any issues as of yet.
