i want to switch my head unit to another one... how do i take it out without paying the damn overpriced speed shops? is there a tutorial somewhere?

I'm too lazy, but if you search the internet, there's a site that comes up if you type like "Solara Radio Installation Instructions" or something to that effect. It's also been linked to on this site. Do some searching, if you put a bit of work into it, you're sure to find it.

god dammit i was trying to pull out the center console but i ccant.. i can only get the 4 bottoms ones !!!!!!!!!! what am i doing wrong

Be patient, my friend. The first time is always hard to get it out.
Since you got the 4 bottom ones out, use your two hands to get a hold of the area around the digital clock, and keep fulling out.

Trust me, there is nothing in there could break.

he's got a point....the dash is only held in by clips no screws or anything it will pop out just slowly work it out..if you want check out my soundodmain page and you can see pixs of the dash removed...

Take a popsicle stick or something and gently pry on the center console to get it pop out. It will come loose it just takes a little effort and patience..

you're not using enough strength. work your way up slowly, and pry with your fingers.

Putty knives work great to pry crap out. I use the 1" width.
