so this is my 2nd solara.. i used to own one back in late 03. which was the 99 SLE 2 tone (pearl white with grey bottom) loved it.. no i have a 99 SLE all black which i love.. im actually purchasing it tomorrow,, i got into a car wreck and they totaled my civic so im buyin this with the check.
now quick question. i already search on this site for a lip kit.. i saw the molly version and all.. i paid for my civic lip kit 7 piece Type R $350 PAINTED
im seein these for the solara for like $500-700 unpainted lol wtf.. is there anyway i can get this cheaper? any websites?

not likely, if you think about it the solara is a much larger vehicle and thus more material is in the kits. plus parts for the solara are becoming ever so more rare year by year, compared to civics where they still make kits for much older versions. Though good luck with the search.

Welcome. I was wondering why a lip kit is so expensive too. I think I could just make one... I saw some people doing it and it turned out great but it takes a looonnngggg @ss time.

GL finding a TRD Kit. Got a mine that’s authentic Molly Design for $550 with Renova Grill. Post pics of this sexy beast.

Also, just realize alot Black Gen 1 Laras popping up lately...

^I have noticed the same thing as you DSM. Seems like every other guy on here has a Black Solara.

im going to take pics tomorrow. yea i really love the black, has limo tint too makes if look smooth. i found some nice TRD rims 18'' black with a Red lip te rims it came with, im not feeling them. but i will definitly post pics tomorrow.. oh and the solara has 152,000 miles.. still running strong.. i tell people that and they cringe like wow thats a lot.. but its a toyota thats just breaking it in. ive seen 95 camrys with 350,000 miles still going strong. well i hope black is a good omen im in good hands then haha 8)
