i'm guessing ur lookin at the v6. Do u have a price range? solara parts can be expensive. What u can do is look at other members car and check out what mods they have.

to make it a BIT faster

1) exhaust
2) intake
3) Y pipe only

+ each trd sticker will give you additional 10 hps .... :drinking:

there is no such thing as cheap when it comes to modding cars.

prepare to spend a good amt of $$ if you want to make the solara "quicker."

i already lost count of how much i put into my baby.

as the saying goes, "money is like speed. how fast do you want to go?"

well, i had lincoln mark viii. stock it ran 15.1 in 1/4 mile. It had 280 horses and i guess because of it was a fast ar i crushed it. the most serios modd i had was the pulley and gears. I had 330 horses by the time i finished modding it. I waisted 900 on gears and few hundreds on pulley. How much horses will Y pype, intake and exhaust do...
anyone tryed Nos?
i see a lot of solaras with a supercharger, but its kinda expensive. 3500 i believe is 2 much.
im lokin for lets say 1500 on most effective performance mods.

thats the only problem which is killin me. i like looks of moded solara with body kit a lot, the competitor to it that i have is nissan maxima 2000. I cant choose. there are tons of mods for maxima but maxima sucks only because in brooklyn, there will be at least 7 maximas on one block...
p.s. you guys have any problems with solaras? are they as reliable as maximas?
thank you!

toyotas will last you 10 years plus. i'd take a toyota over a maxima anyday as far as reliability is concerned. if you're gonna NOS it...you'll prolly affect that "10 year" expectancy toyota is known for. but you can try it. do a search.

i bought the S/C for my solara for $1600 SHIPPED. if you wait around long enough, you'll score a good deal on the supercharger.

With the stock supercharger and no other changes, you can expect to gain about 20% in power. So if your stock 0-60 time was 8 seconds, with the supercharger it should be 8/1.2=6.7 seconds.

Good luck running a 1/4 mile in 15.6

Realistically you'd run it in 16.1-16.3

as a Supercharged S/E v6 auto, I ran a 15.3
