Solara Pace Cars?

So anyone knows what ever happened to them? The were painted black on top,(kinda like the z28's)...I'm suprised that no one ever ventured into doing the similar...Anyone have any updates they underwent...or where are they today?

You mean the 99 Limited edition SE V6 Solaras that had 20 more hp stock?! =] I think there were 35 made? iono =x

Some guy is selling his in the LA area for 11,000 I think. S/C w/ 1.5 front end conversion and various other mods.

nah xrave those were something different

jhbatia was referring to the an actual pace car. It was supercharged, gorgeous paint job, and a ton of mods

The car was later converted to 02-03 gen 1.5 style. Flipside posted pics a while ago in the pictures section

It was tuned higher by toyota. There are many ways to get more hp out of an engine and still keep it "stock"

they had 350 lb-ft of torque and over 300 hp with 12 psi.

The pace cars probally will never be sold. The two gen 1 pace cars were converted to gen 1.5 pace cars. There are only two in the world.

They never used the 12psi. They may have advertised that you could run it that high, but the engine would NEVER handle it for a long period of time.
