My name is MJ and I'm studying to be an auto technician at Universal Technical Institute. I drive a 2000 Solara SEV6 with a five speed, which I bought about August of last year. I've put upwards of 40k miles on that vehicle since I bought it, and it still runs happily through everything I encounter. It's a ballsy little car, with torque steer like a motherf**er. But I love this car.
Yes, I drive a stick... ;)

Welcome MJ! Nice 5 speed! Are you boosted? Cuz I don't think a stock V6 has torque steer lol :P

It's not boosted. But I definitely have torque steer. I don't see how any FWD vehicle with a standard can avoid torque steer. It's just because of the setup. I drove a mazda3 with torque steer. It's probably exaggerated because of my low tread. But it pulls if I take off quickly, ESPECIALLY if its wet outside.

Welcome!!! The Solara definitely has some torque steer.
I notice the torque steer in my car, and I've got an auto.
Better tires will help out.
