Exhaust?

Exhaust?

Postby MGLax13 » Wed Nov 12, 2003 10:04 pm

Anyone got an clips of their exhaust. I'm especially interested in hearing how the TRD, the APEXi and the Greddy exhausts sound. I'm pretty much gonna pick the best sounding one.

I'd host it for ya. Is the file small enough to send over email?

If not, I create a FTP account for you to upload it.

PM me.

email is fenix295@yahoo.com

Any updates on this? I'm looking forward to hearing and seeing the different exhausts that are out there.

The Greddy sounds mean on a 4-cylinder (I've heard it on a 02)

On that note, the TRD Exhaust on an 02 I4 (like mine) sounds subtle but strong. It's still mean enough to trigger a car alarm within a parking lot building.

I like it a lot. Something I noticed though, it sounds a bit stock when it's not warm yet. But after everything warms up, vroom.

Is it just me or stock air filter box with TRD filter and TRD exhaust promote fuel efficiency on my car? 90% city driving, I used to get 280 - 300 miles for a full tank. Now, I still have 1/4 left with 320 miles already. Kinda weird coz I never changed my driving habit and routines.

On several occasions in the past, 60% city driving promoted 300 - 330 miles on the full tank. And this was before the Air filter and Exhaust.

wake me up if im dreaming folks... :fadein:

Xyntax,

Stock Filter near E light ~320-350 mainly stop go w/ a little freeway driving.

K&N Filter near E light ~400 w/ the same habits... sometimes even w/ the A/C on

I'm thinking about a TRD exhaust... hehehe :o
