Hey wussup. I used to go to UMD - College Park about 2 years ago and thats right around there. Granted I don't know what I'd have to show since my '00s about 99.9% stock, and I don't know any of you guys, but it sounds like it could be fun. I owe my boys in UMD a visit anyways. Is this an invite only thing?

Jon11582,

Please join us. This event is opened for everyone. I personally don't know anyone yet besides the fact from this board.
As long as you're interested, stock Solara or not, if you could make it, join us. The more, the merrier. :D

Just a little to kick up the style points.

Clear corners, APC Titans, Headunit, Indiglos, and some bulb swapping.

No performance upgrades, but with the lead in my foot, its probably better off that way.

Headlights are Silverstars. (fogs get replaced next, but I'm working on a foglight deal right now to replace my one thats condensating). Replaced almost all other "white" bulbs with hyper-whites. In the process of getting my center console blue to match my headunit, but the bulbs in the HVAC units are giving me trouble. Goal is to make it nice, but tasteful.

Major work on the dash guages. Took them out plenty of times, but I think I finally got them how I like them.

Next step is putting in a box, but trying to doing some massive research first before I jump.

I'm more of a style/comfort guy than a tuner/performance guy as you can probably tell from my list so far.

Anyways, back to topic. I still don't know if I'm going, but I'm interested. If enough of us are riding down from Jersey or more north, maybe we should meet somewhere pre-Delaware and make a huge Solara caravan too. The turnpike going into I-95 is a boring ride...its just a thought.

yikes, at the start of this thread, i was saying to myself, no way i'm going. but the more and more i read, it totally sounds doable! especially since cruze105 and jon11582 are considering it, i'll make ya a deal, i'll go if you guys go! we can caravan it down there, esp since jon sorta knows where he is going.
tolls are gonna suck, and someone owes us some beers if we pull this off!
thanks DVS One for PM'ing me about it. my job has changed slightly (more work) and i haven't had time to even browse the forums.

I just turned 21 last week.

Last time I went down was before they made E-Zpass (I HATE E-Z Pass, but I broke down and got it after they stopped selling tokens on the parkway). Maybe it wont be too bad now, even though I dont know how many of your Jerseyians are EZ-Pass equipped. Marylands and easy, but boring drive. Get to the Turnpike south, and when that ends, it becomes I-95, and just keep going til you hit where you wanna go.

Dav, I was thinking the same thing. Solara people? I havent even hit a dozen posts with these guys and I'm thinkin about drivin about 200 miles to see 'em.
Works hell, but thats a Sunday isnt it? I still havent got in contact with my College Park guys, but if we go, I need to drop by there for a few min to say wussup at some point. (we're all seniors now, probably wont seem em again ever if not now.)

And Dav apparently lives really close to me. If we all go down, we definitly have to pre-meet somewhere in jersey. I really have no idea why I'm considering going, but here I am.
