Greddy Evo Exhuast - Hole in mid-pipe, missing screw/bolt?

Postby krzyray » Tue Nov 18, 2003 10:48 am

I just installed my Greddy Evo Exhuast last night. On the top of the mid-pipe, right before the cat. There is a bolt size threaded hole. Wasn't this suppose to come plugged? I know there shouldn't be a hole because I'm losing air flow and all sound is coming from the front of the car lol.

Thanks

It never came with an O2 sensor. Damn... it took me like 2 months to get this exhaust from greddy cuz orginally they sent me an exhaust for the subaru impreza.

Where do I get this O2 sensor?

just go to autozone... its not required to be hooked up so your going to cut the wire unless you have a v6..

no no. what did you do with your original O2 sensor before you took the stock exhaust off? it had to be removed to take the exhaust off.

lol i had a hole in my greddy exhaust too, figured it was for the o2 censor, so i jus welded the the pipe so there was no hole.

Is it important to have the O2 Sensor? or is it the same as just welding the hole shut?

for us i4 ppl it wouldn't matter.. but let say in the future and you would like to sell it to someone.. the v6 used the same one.. and if you weld it shut.. the v6 ppl will not be able to use it since they will now have no hole for the o2 sensor.... but it wouldn't effect the perfomance part..

i would just go buy a $20 sensor from auto, cut the wires and just stick that in the hole....

or in other words.. the bung.. hole..!!! lolz...
