Passed CA smog

Passed CA smog

I have a 2000 Solara SC with the JP Performance Y-pipe and Tanabe catback. It took two tries but once it warmed up the car barely passed.
I was very relieved because I didn't want to have to remove the Y pipe and install the OEM.

3 years! o thats good. Here in the metro Atlanta area its every year. Were I came from Newark, NJ it was two years. I would have never thought California would be every 3 years.

Here is something of what I was talking about. Not the one I saw but something like this. It sounds funny but they will give you a refund if it does not work.

Hey did it pass with the intake or did you have to put the OEM back on to pass?

even with the intake installed on the car, it will pass the sniffer test, however will not pass visual tests. depending on who does the smog check can just let it go or not...
