Leaking head gasket

Leaking head gasket

Postby HKSV6SLE » Sun Nov 23, 2003 1:40 pm

i just found out that my head gasket is leaking. It's not leaking bad but it is leaking. So do you guys think it's worth fixing or not? i probably won't have this car more than another year at the most, then im probably gonna trade it in. IF it's worth fixing , anyone have any ideas how much a new gasket is gona cost? And also how many people have had this problem with the head gasket?

Gasket = Cheap
Labor = Expensive

On my old car, which had a 3S-GELC, it was about 40 quid for the gasket then about 800 for the labor. I would get it fixed. I image these sorts of things start small then get worse with time. Don't want to accidentally warp the head or something :(. Good luck on getting it fixed.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.
