Can Toyota Service dept install TRD suspensions? Where have people who have had TRD suspension installs had them done? About how much does an install cost? Are TRD parts at all covered under the car's warranty? Covered under an extended all-inclusive warranty? Or have their own warranty?

Yea, Toyota said it'd be about $450 for Springs/Struts. A local shop asked only 90 bucks!

Ohh, and I don't think it'd be covered under the warranty if wasn't installed by Toyota Dealership

Flash,
We're talking just installation not parts. Did Toyota Service do that for only $150? I also cannot believe a shop could do it for only $75. Can anyone else provide numbers for us?

well about 75 is about right i got mine done for 100 at Rod Millen Motorsports down in huntington beach. the dealer will rip you off and not all dealers are willing to do it since it is labor intensive.

I don't know how or where you got quoted 75 but thats a great price.

The parts probally do not need to be installed by toyota for the warranty. The springs/struts themselves carry a warranty from the manufacturer and they will not void your toyota warranty. I wouldn't worry too much

does any one ever remember the word "connections" ? anywho, difference in pricing may also be because of area location as well. im pretty sure shops in the mid-west are more rare, so they can somewhat monopolize on pricing if they choose to. whether here, there are an abundant supply of shops. all that supply and demand crap...

Holy Cr@p, $75?! I just spent my entire lunch break calling about 15 different shops local to me here in Fresno, CA, and I couldn't find a single one that would install my Tokico/eibach combo for less than $500!! One said $267 at first, then I found out he was talking about just the front ones, anyway, anyone got any info that might help me out?
