99-01 SLE v6 solara 1/4 mile times?

Im thinking of getting a 00 sle solara....AUTO
I was wondering since people MOD solaras....
that they might know the 1/4 mile times....
does anyone know or have ran their solara v6 auto on a track?
how slow should i expect it to be?
I was going to get a v6 accord but found out that their trannys poop out...
I had a 97 Jetta before but that tranny pooped out on me too
Is there anything I should look for in these cars... something to look out for?

haha you must be
go check the acura-tl forum and the av6 forum...
honda has a underground recall on trannys... they start to slip even at low milage... (20k!!) all v6 accords (98-02?) and TL's, CL's...

if you're looking for a fast car...the solara is defiently not it...especially the automatic one...the car is very cofortable, and handles pretty well for a car this big...and for something based on the camry. in my opinion, tryinbg to make the solara faster is a waste of money unless you have lots and lots of money to turbo it or get the s/c and such....if you want performance get a celica..they're better in that aspect but a whole lot smaller...

the best time i got was 16 flat on my S/C'ed V6 2000 SE. this was only with the S/C. i haven't had a chance to go to the track since i put on the JIC 505 exhaust...

My best so far (only got 3 runs) was a 15.5 with a s/c, catback and intake on my auto 2000 v6 on stock boost (4lbs).

What would be the 0-60 on a 2000-2001 V6 SLE automatic in stock form no mods at all? Trying to research for my brother that is looking to buy this car so trying to help him out with research.

Yeah I'd say 16.2 as my Solara SE just has exhaust and ran 16.19 with 18's. No different just leather and auto a/c missing.
