NEW!!! XERD Cold Air Intake Group Buy!!!

EDITED!!!!!

Hello everyone,

I understand people like to see what they are buying before putting any money down and since we didn't get much response on this group buy, we will be offering a different deal.

To make everyone happy we wont take any orders until we have released pictures of the final product, off and on the car. We will dyno the intake and then do another group buy (yes, again).

However i think people had enough time to save up for an intake so once we will post a new group buy it will only be offered for no longer then 2 weeks. Either you are in or out.

We understand that Solara market is limited however we are still excited to release these products. We are in no rush to take people's money as some think.

Once i will have the production intake in my hands, i will take new pictures and show everyone.

Thank you very much, Eyal

You are killing us! Did you knowingly wait until the Holidays to offer groupbuys on your products? What next the header back groupbuy?

:)

We are working on so many new products that we release them as we get them (after testing of course).

We already have a group buy for the headers.

The last group buy which wont be until Jan or Feb, will be for the exhaust system.

Thanx, Eyal :)

Wow, there is some serious CAI competition going on! Which intake will prove it's performance, Danny's CAI extension or Xerd's CAI. Hmm, we should have a performance competition! I really want a CAI bad, where would I go? :o

But Danny's intake looks like it would be more effective in sucking up some true cold air.
Yeah, I've owned 2 Solaras so.............................Image

Solara1,

I haven't seen Danny's intake so i cant comment on it however from what i read it seems to be just as good as ours.

Our intake actually gets the coldest air possible, the filter sits close to the opening in the front bumper where it would get the most air. The filter is also located right in front of the engine so it wont soak any hot air while driving.

A few things you will want to know about our intake.

- Made out of 6061, T6 aluminum and comes complete with all necessary hardware.
- Lifetime warranty
- High quality air filter (custom made for us for maximum flow and to keep dirt out more efficiently)

Thanx, Eyal

This is a picture of the test unit, the real deal will look like any injen or AEM intake will.

Eyal, great work! Glad to see you guys got it worked out. TRDMole and all_red have really good points. I asked to see pics of the installation a long time ago. I know since there were problems, you didn't want to post pictures since there would be changes but now that you have it fixed, you must have it installed on a car to know that. The location of where the air intake is extended to is VERY important to me. Seeing how the pipe lays and where the filter sits will help me and I'm sure others make a purchasing decision. -JoeB

I also agree with the previous posts, seeing the intake actually installed on the car, would help me decide whether to purchase it or not.

Would you be able to take some pictures of the intake installed on the car when the production version comes in? And do you know aproximately when the production version will come in.

$179 is a really good price.. From what i see the filter will be sitting right after the whole for the fender. Whereas Dannys intake is said to be down to the Foglight (solara's). To me the Zerd will be better for me since i have a body kit and there are openings where dannys CAI filter would sit. I just dont want water entering the engine
