Porterfield R4-S
I've only used them for about 300 miles, but they are great. Just an option for you. http://www.porterfield-brakes.com They don't have it listed for the solara, but e-mail them and they'll give you part numbers.

Same here. I love them. If you burned up your EBC, these are definately for you.

I have only heard excellent things about the Porterfield brake pads on this and other forums. I just ordered a set from Livermore Performance 925-292-5522. -JoeB

Greenstuff is good, other than the funky smell  , Redstuff isn't really a long life street pad, at least that is how I read the EBC site. Porterfields are supposed to good, as are Hawks. Alot of what a good pad is depends on your driving style right? At least this is what I had been leaded to believe by all the different heat ranges pads come in.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

I don't think it'll even be close (with the Porterfields outmatching the EBCs)

I've never used the EBC reds but I know that the porterfields are excellent in terms of braking power and fade
