Solaraman, it's hard to tell without being there, knowing how it was running and what all was done. It's possible the old filter was very dirty, the ECU had adjusted to a restricted air-flow and now it is getting so much air the mixture is off. Try disconnecting the negative terminal of the battery for 10 mins to reset the ECU. Reconnect it then after running it for 10 mins or so, it should be readjusted to the current setup. It might run a little rough right after you reset the ECU. Just work the gas and keep it running. -JoeB
