There is a whole butt-load of people selling car alarms like these on e-bay with LCD FM remotes, remote start, etc. for low prices but they are brands I've never heard of. Anyone know if they're any good?
Nascar would be a sport if half the cars were driving the other direction.

Crime stopper I think is a pretty good brand. I'm curious about some of those other alarm systems with LCD pagers.

if you're gonna buy an LCD 2-way paging unit, you might as well get a good one the first time in one crack. the only reputable ones out there right now is the Viper 791, Clifford Matrix, and Autopage isn't that bad either. go with one of those units instead.

Alarms are one thing you want to buy and have installed from a reputable shop. It's WAAYY to easy to create some massive havoc in your car by wiring an alarm incorrectly. This is what I do for a living.

I'd say stick to Best Buy, pick up one of their Clifford (DEI) RX2.5 or 3.5s, and be done. They have a lifetime warranty on everything (but the remote), and there's a Best Buy in damn near every city it seems.

Hey wasup, I'm selling an alarm for my friend, sorry i know i should post in the for sale section but he was inquiring about ebay alarms so i thought this could be helpful. It is a Viper 790XV, and I think its a great alarm because i use it myself on my solara. I've added features like the auto windows but even without extra features this alarm is pretty nice. The reserve is 220 so if your interested bid on.
