i agree, im looking for mufflers right now. any suggestions? i found a nice JIC universal muffler. not the canister n1 type, but they make an oval one w/ single tip. the only problem is the inlet is 80mm which is about 3.15 inch and im getting 2.5 inch piping. anyone know if its possible to flare out the end of the piping right before it goes into the muffler? anyone ever done this or heard of anyone doing so?

Maybe a good muffler shop can weld an adapter for you.

hey peter real quick...i had that done before all they do is take a pipe and bend it and make it smaller ( not sure exactly) how they do it but they can make the inlet and pipe diamter match up. I used to get all my old cars done at this place called Sweeney's Custom mufflers down in torrance. the place is owned by a white guy who usually does muscle cars, but he does pretty good work on imports too, even though its been a few years since i been down there...the shop is still there as far as i know. as for me im looking at getting an 5Zigen border muffler and do some custom piping.
