Also paint the frame thing around the side air vent and that speaker thingy in black... I think it would look cool.

I started work on the dash part, Im doing the outline in red and leaving the rest black, coming out pretty sweet so far. i agree with you all about the vibrancy of the red, however, it just looks like that in the pictures, and it actually is the exact match of my exterior.

I used "import Kolor" touchup paint, factory color match :D I think i might just go with Black for the wood grain stuff...
Thanks everyone for the comments and suggestions, keep em coming!!

Just thought I would suggest maybe doing a cool carbon fiber pattern over the wood grain. Might make a nice contrast against the red as well as the tan. I was thinking about doing that in mine but I actually like the wood, but I could always change my mind.

UPDATE: I have accented the black large main console with an outline of red...very similiar to sto's (whose is silver). It took me about a week to complete and it looks VERY nice. While I was ripping it apart I changed the color of my clock to red. i will get pictures up as soon as I can, but I'm extremely busy with finals week approaching and all..you know how it goes.

I've decided to paint the wood trim black. I'll need some help and advice with how to sand it down and paint it and such, becuase it's a differnt finish/material than all the other things I painted. My other option is to take it to a body shop and see if they can make the wood trim a Red carbon fiber look. I know they do some kind of work with colored carbon fiber, but I dont know if they do custom work.

UPDATE: I finished accenting the black large main console in an outline of red, much like sto's (whose is silver). It came out VERY good. While i had my interior apart for a week, I decided to change my clock color to red as well. I'm very busy with finals week approaching and all (you know how that goes..) so it took me about a week to do, and it will take me some time to get pics up, but when i get a chance, I'll be sure to post them.

I've decided to paint the wood trim black. I'll need some help/advice with sanding it down and such, becuase its a different material/finish than the rest of the stuff I painted. My other option is to take the wood grain to a local body shop, who I know does work with colored carbon fiber material. i don't know if they do custom work or not, so that may not be an option after all, but it would look really neat.

Comments and suggestions are welcome!

Hi FLASH,

Do you have pictures of what it looks like yet?
Please give detail of what you did and what you used as well...i'd love to do the same but I have no experience in painting the wood grain and I don't want to f**k it up :-)

Thank you,
Tanya

Hmmm... I think the HVAC knobs make it overkill witht he red. It looks like you took the pieces off tho paint though. Props! Some folks don't and get overspray everywhere, plus you can't mask the whole interior (which you would have to do). What about a dullsilver "titanium/platinum" type look for the wood/"plastic" trim? Might clash with the dash though. Looks good, hope it doesn't peel on ya.

Tanya, I dont have pics yet, I will probably by the weekend, or whever I get time  I havent done the wood grain yet, only the center console I ACCENTED red.
Guest, the HVAC knobs DO look like over kill, and originally when I painted them I hated it but couldnt get the paint off and planned on replacing them...but I never got around to it, and got used to it..in person everything looks at leaty 75% better.
Hari, thanks for your work on the photoshopping. The silver actually doesnt look bad at all, I may go with that instead of black. But it's gonna be a tough decision to make, and will also need to wait until I can find some time to do..maybe over the winter break? I hope..
